Austin Hughes
Austin HughesGuide
Austin Hughes is joining WWA this season after spending several other years in the hills with different outfitters. He has lived in Nevada since he was 2 years old and grew up in a very committed hunting family. He was lucky enough to experience guiding from a young age as his father owned an outfit. As far back as he can remember hunting has been the focal point of his life until he started his own family. If he’s not out in the hills looking for big animals he’s chasing his 1 year old girl or 3 year old son. Watching his son develop the love for the outdoors has been the best experience he has had to date.

Dylan was born and raised in Northeastern Nevada, and has been hunting and guiding in the area for some time. This will be his 6th year guiding in Nevada and his first with Western Wildlife Adventures. He loves to spend any free time he gets out in the hills north of Elko, looking for animals or shed hunting. He’s an electrician by trade, but his one true passion is hunting and guiding. He gets more excitement out of helping someone else harvest an animal than harvesting it himself. He is married to his best friend, Katie, who luckily lets him spend as much time as he needs too out in the mountains!
